Security First Line Management
I am undertaking a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Security First Line Management with CIS Security Limited.The programme develops essential skills in leadership, compliance, operational planning, and customer service. It blends structured study with on-the-job learning to prepare me for supervisory and managerial responsibilities within the security sector.
Hands-On Learning: Practical experience across live operations, including managing incidents, customer service delivery, emergency procedures, and routine site checks.

My Apprenticeship Focus
The apprenticeship builds the knowledge and capability needed to operate confidently as a First Line Manager. My learning covers the following areas of focus:
Security Training Programmes: Development in conflict management, first aid, evacuation planning, fire safety, and professional communication.
Professional Development: Modules in risk assessments, health and safety legislation, team supervision, performance management, and reporting processes.
Case Studies: Assignments based on real scenarios at Paddington Square, including risk management planning, operational reviews, and stakeholder communication exercises.
Mentorship Opportunities: Guidance sessions with experienced account managers, compliance officers, and trainers to support career progression and personal development.
Compliance and Risk Management: Training on British Standards, Security Industry Authority (SIA) licensing requirements, and local site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Customer Service Excellence: Learning how to exceed occupier expectations, deliver professional front-of-house services, and represent both CIS Security and Knight Frank effectively.
